Why am I asking you to check in by leaving a comment? I’ve bet a couple of people here that we have three readers. The only other bets on the table are two readers and one reader.
We need to determine our readership numbers to settle the bet.

A couple of other people make their presence known as well, although not as regularly as you do. We appreciate their presence as well. The fear is that you are the only ones, which is somewhat depressing considering how much work we put into shovelling out this crap.

If anyone else is reading and checks in nobody wins the bet. In that case, we’ve agreed to all go to the pub and buy our own drinks.

@Patricia: I’m not looking for any particular number of comments. I’m just using comments as a surrogate measure of readership to determine whether it’s worthwhile continuing to publish this crap.

I will comment under a variety of assumed names if you are seriously considering an end of publishing the tales of Shalampax.
David: There has been some discussion around here of that (ceasing publication due to lack of interest). Your continuing interest is duly noted and, as I said in reply to your previous comment, greatly appreciated. But we were hoping for a somewhat broader audience. No decision has been reached on cancelling publication. (If you do comment under assumed names, you might want to do it from different computers. WordPress shows us the IP addresses of all commenters.)
