Paahlm is the Answer
Many people slog through their lives riddled with angst while seeking answers to life’s great questions. Some people find solace in religion.
Here in Shalampax, Paahlmism is the dominant and official religion. It is our religion that frees us from thinking about life’s unanswered, seemingly unanswerable, momentous questions. In fact, it frees us from thinking. Period. This explains a lot about Shalampax.
For us, Paahlm is the answer. Now, if we only had the slightest of clues as to what question It answers, then we’d really have something.
I’ve beseeched Pahlm to explain the meaning of life but I’ve received neither an answer nor any enlightenment which leads me to conclude there is no meaning so I’ve quit my job and invested my savings in cases of vodka. Who give a damn about the meaning of life when they have a good buzz going, right? Cheerio
@David: Don’t be so impatient with Paahlm, but even if you do give up on Paahlm, it would be a horrid and tragic mistake to turn to vodka in Paahlm’s stead. A nice single malt scotch, while it is more expensive, provides a much better buzz. That’s definitely the path to enlightenment I recommend.
I’ve never heard Paahlm before but it could be worth researching. As for the meaning of life, I think it very complicated for anybody or for any group to be able to understand much less explain it.

@Kirhat: One cannot truly know Shalampax without knowing Paahlm. And one cannot truly know Paahlm without knowing Shalampax. That having been said, why anyone would want to truly know either is beyond me.
