Kumquats Unavailable
The Shalampax Grocery Store has asked me to inform its customers that the store will not have any kumquats in stock tomorrow. This is not surprising because the store has never carried kumquats. The Shalampax Grocery Store felt that it was, nonetheless, important to make this announcement as it has not received adequate mention in the media recently.
Being the intrepid journalist that I am, I agreed to publish this notice after payment of the usual inordinate writing fee.
A-ha! Kumquats can not be bought but kumquat writers can be. Are they as tasty?
@nonamedufus: Everyone has his or her price. I may be easy, but I’m not cheap.
And, yes, I am tasty. As to the kumquat fruit, I have no idea if it’s tasty. We’ve never had any here in Shalampax.
