National Do Nothing and Don’t Give a Damn Day

Today is National Do Nothing and Don’t Give a Damn Day here in Shalampax. On this day every year we commemorate everything that it means to be a Shalampaxian. Our festivities include a 24-hour-long group nap.

If I gave a damn, I’d tell you to celebrate the day and have a great holiday. But I don’t, so I won’t.

Happy napping! Do Shalampaxians have a special napping shirt and hat (which would be cool) or do you nap all together in the um, er, all-together?

@nonamedufus: Grrr! I hate being awoken from my nap, but I’ll answer your question. Being in Shalampax and, therefore, already surrounded by all things Shalampaxian, we, of course, sleep all together in the all-together. However, if non-Shalampaxians wish to celebrate the holiday they should surround themselves with something Shalampaxian. Something from the Shalampax Coat of Arms Shop or Shalampax Flag Shop would be most appropriate.

I have whole-heartedly embraced the National do-nothing day but I’m having some trouble with the don’t give a damn part. Any advice for getting on board?

@David: Sorry, I might be able to think up some good advice if I gave a damn, but I don’t so I can’t.

@Sam: You’ll find that we’re a very fun people as long as being fun doesn’t involve any effort.
