Teaching Created Evolution

The Shalampax School Board has unanimously passed a motion put forward by Religco to teach Created Evolution, the Church of Infinitiaty’s doctrine concerning the origin of species, in science classes in all grades of the Shalampax School.

Starting in the next school year, the curriculum will include the truth of Created Evolution alongside the theories of creationism, intelligent design and uncreated evolution.

The new syllabus gives equal weight to Created Evolution and the other hypotheses. However, in practice, teachers will no doubt give greater weight to the truth of Created Evolution.

To ensure that there was no conflict of interest, all of the school board members signed affidavits swearing that the share in Religco that each board member received did not influence their vote on this motion.

I, for one, fully agree with and wholeheartedly support the decision of the school board. And, like the school board members, I can assure you that the shares I hold in Religco have in no way diminished my journalist integrity. I was already a journalistic slut long before this.

Quite apart from this so-called journalist being an obvious shill for Religco, Poopydiaper has left one important piece of information out of this story. Who the heck created Created Evolution?

@nonamedufus: Clearly, you didn’t read the linked article. You must be almost as lazy as a Shalampaxian. Obviously, God One created Created Evolution.

I read it after I left the comment but I was too lazy to change it. Shalampaxians are lazy? How do I become one? Sounds like my kind of society.

@nonamedufus: There are only two ways to become a Shalampaxian. One, you are born to a Shalampaxian. Or, two, you buy citizenship. We haven’t yet set the price of citizenship because no one could afford it, so what’s the point?

nonamedufus best reconsider the whole business of becoming a Shalampaxian with emphasis on the “be dinner” factor.

But back to the point, Who the hell cares how it all got started…we should be more concerned with what happens “next”.

@David: Yes, we tend to not stress the “being dinner” thing in our promotional literature.

As to being concerned about what happens next, if we put any effort in trying to alter that we’re almost certain to screw things up royally, so why bother?
