Active Listening

Last night, Emptybucket gave yet another excruciating (or is that exhilarating; I always get those two words mixed up; no, excruciating is right) lecture in his sporadic series of talks.

Yesterday’s topic was, “Active Listening Skills: Paying Close Attention.”

Fulfilling my role as events reporter here at Shalampax Speaks, I attended the full one-hour seminar. I would like to use today’s post to provide a detailed revue of his session because active listening skills are, clearly, skills that would benefit everyone and help to make the world a better place. I would like to do that, but the truth is, my mind wandered and I didn’t hear a word he said.
